In spite of our somewhat complicated travel arrangements (8 people going to 2 different hotels and departing on two different days) we had a great experience with Book Taxi Venice. The driver met us at the airport on time and escorted us to a waiting mini van to drive to the water taxi area so we didn't have to schlep our luggage all over Marco Polo. The boat arrived within minutes and we were taken to our hotels. When it came time to leave, the boat arrived to pick up the first group on time. A driver was waiting to take the group back to the terminal and walked them to the gate. The next day, the rest of us were picked up at our two different hotels. Again, the boat arrived on time and, again, a driver was waiting for us with the mini van to take us to the terminal. He walked each couple to their boarding gate. The cost was entirely reasonable and we were all very pleased with the service and the professionalism of the boat drivers and the van drivers. Luca was with us when we arrived in Venice and with the second group when we left. He was wonderful! Would absolutely recommend Book Taxi Venice for anyone coming into Venice and wants a hassle free arrival/departure.

We booked this water taxi last minute and it was the best part of our trip by far. Never being to Venice before and not having a clue what to do this was worth every penny. Also- this company is much cheaper than others. We were met at the train station right by our arrival train, taken straight to the boat and they even helped with our luggage. We were taken to a doc by the hotel and walked directly to our hotel. We did not have to figure out how to navigate the streets by ourselves! I booked a water taxi for my son and daughter in law who were on their honeymoon. There was a last minute panic as their flight was rescheduled for much earlier in the day. I phoned the company who reassured me that everything would be fine and there would be someone at the airport to meet them. Sure enough this happened, they were whisked off with their luggage to the boat by Marco who they said couldn't have been more helpful. On the way to their hotel he took them for a tour of the Grand Canal which they loved. It was their first time in Venice and they said it was just the best way to see it for the first time. At the end of the holiday the taxi turned up exactly on time driven by a really nice chap (sorry they didn't get his name). Pick up and drop off went smooth. It was a very fast ride to and from our hotel. It would have been nice to possible go slower or take a slightly longer route so that us tourist could get to see Venice more.Date of Posting: 21 July 2016

We were absolutely thrilled with the service, which was about 50E cheaper than others that we looked at. My husband is in a wheelchair, and we had a lot of luggage. Our driver was waiting at baggage claim, quickly grabbed our luggage and helped us into his van. The private water taxi was waiting for us, and they handled all of our luggage and helped my husband into the boat, which was beautiful. They took us directly to the private dock at the Metropole, and helped him out of the boat. I wish that our transfers in other cities were as smooth! Very happy!!!Date of Posting: 18 November 2015

Customer service (Marco) was outstanding. He helped us set up a private dock pickup for the airport. It took special effort on his part to set the whole thing up. Not only was the pickup place not usual but the 05:30AM was probably not usual either. I and my luggage were on the dock at exactly 05:30AM however I did not know, that due to a time change, I was actually on the dock at 04:30AM. At the airport, a very nice man unloaded the luggage from the boat onto a van and drove us to the front door of the Airport building.
